Kelsea Ballerini has just kicked off her “Unapologetically” headlining tour to promote her sophomore album of the same name. But in 2015, Ballerini was a special guest visiting someone else’s tour… Taylor Swift’s.

Backstage during a tour date in Pittsburg, Swift was hosting a small hang with Ballerini, Swift, Rachel Platten, Little Big Town and Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy, who was opening the show. The group had a few minutes to spare and decided it was the perfect time for the ultimate jam session.

In videos posted to Instagram by Ballerini and Joy, you can see the super-group doing their own private karaoke session, including trying to remember the lyrics to Blink-182’s “What’s My Age Again?” and a sing-along of Ballerini’s own “Yeah Boy.”

“#TBT to Taylor Swift knowing ALL OF THE WORDS TO MY SONG AND ME BEING IN HEAVEN AND KEEPING MY COOL TIL THE VERY END THEN LOSING IT,” the country starlet captioned her Instagram post to commemorate the moment.

A friendship sparked between the two after Swift tweeted her affection for Ballerini’s EP. Since then the pair has been spotted at multiple gatherings together, even Ballerini’s housewarming party. In 2015, Swift invited Ballerini on stage during a Nashville show where they dueted on Ballerini’s debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It.”

Since then, Ballerini has earned herself three No.1 singles, including one for “Yeah Boy” and released her sophomore album, Unapologetically, featuring her current single “Legends.” Swift is also back in the spotlight as she prepares for her massive world tour in support of her latest project, reputation. The tour is set to begin in Glendale, Arizona, on May 8, 2018 and will hit stadiums and arenas around the globe.
