Country singer Hunter Hayes has released “One Good Reason,” a brand new song off his forthcoming new album. The ballad was written and produced both by Hayes and Sam Ellis, and narrates an almost insuppressible heart-wrenching post-breakup life that bounds the guy to past memories.

“’One Good Reason’ represents a totally different side of this album and was another very personal song to write,” Hayes shared on the song’s writing. “It’s also one good reason for me to celebrate releasing another song from this upcoming album that I can’t wait for the world to hear.”

The 27-year-old, known for his multi-instrument playing and energy-fueled shows, gave fans a taste of the newly released track with a live performance at his sold-out CMA Fest fan club party earlier this month.

Hayes was also kept busy playing multiple shows at this year’s CMA Fest, that included co-headlining a spot at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheatre and playing shows at the highly-raved Spotify House at Ole Red, Riverfront Stage and a pop-up concert by the CMA Foundation.

The multi-instrumentalist Louisiana native has also been active over the years in bringing his music across to a global audience, and to date, has racked up over 16.3 million on-demand streams on his current radio single, “Heartbreak.” No date has been announced on the upcoming album.

Hayes recently concluded his spring headlining Closer To You tour with Levi Hummon and will continue bringing his music out on the road and multiple fairs and festival this summer. For information on tour dates and more, click here.
