Adam Hambrick Takes a ‘Snapshot’ of Young Love in ‘All You, All Night, All Summer’

Hit songwriter-turned-artist Adam Hambrick offers up a sophisticated sense of nostalgia in his latest single, “All You, All Night, All Summer,” capturing the essence of young country love.
Putting the Arkansas native’s engaging, razor-sharp vocal inside a steamy tribute to teenaged romance, Hambrick was just about to take the stage at the 2019 CMA Music Festival when he told Sounds Like Nashville where the “uptempo summer jam” was coming from.
“It’s a snapshot of summer love in a small town,” Hambrick explained, speaking behind the scenes of Ascend Amphitheater’s Firestone Country Roads Stage. “If I had it when I was 16, I feel like I would roll the windows down and listen, and that’s what we were trying to capture. I feel like it’s a song people connect with because we’ve all got that in our history.”
“July magic it was bare feet, radio cranked with the doors off the Jeep / Bull’s Farm on the hood with the stars out, livin’ large in a small town / I was all in, you were all mine / The hot teens, wish I could freeze time / I may never recover from when it was / All you, all night, all summer,” goes the best-days-of-your-life chorus.

Shortly after the conversation, Hambrick took a rain-drenched CMA Fest stage to deliver the new track — plus his so-smooth single debut, “Rockin’ All Night Long” — continuing a dream-chasing journey he’s still finding hard to believe. CMA Fest is part of the reason Hambrick decided to move to Nashville in the first place, he explained, having stumbled upon it by accident while visiting years ago. Since then, he’s been included in the Fest for a few songwriter’s rounds, but this year marked his first appearance on the event’s biggest stages.
“It’s kind of like shooting fish in a barrel a little bit,” he said with a laugh. “There are so many country lovers here, if you just show up and do your thing you’re gonna make fans, and it’s a huge opportunity.”
Hambrick will be looking to capitalize on the opportunity this year. Along with “All You, All Night, All Summer,” he intends to release a few more singles and then a full album, and will be on the road with Brett Young, Mitchell Tenpenny and Lanco.
